The Herzogfest celebration is held annually in Victoria, Kansas. It is family-oriented and one of the most anticipated events of the year in the area. The festival provides entertainment and family fun for all ages. The event has grown from a one day sidewalk sale into a weekend celebration. All entertainment is FREE to the public.
Herzogfest Inc. is a domestic not-for-profit corporation recognized under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a not-for-profit charitable organization and is operated under the supervision of a volunteer Board of Directors. Contributions and gifts are tax-deductible under section 170 (c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions and in-kind services are placed directly into the festival. No funds raised or donated are applied to administrative costs.
The two main directives of the Herzogfest Board of Directors are to honor and celebrate the local German heritage and to provide a community celebration focusing on family oriented fun. Homage is paid t those who settled the area and built this charming and thriving Midwest town and community.
